Biographical Sketches of the Management

Robert Stewart:  Chief Executive Officer

                             

Mr. Stewart holds dual Swiss/Canadian citizenships and has been a long-time resident of Switzerland, Great Britain, the USA and Canada. In addition to a diplomatic career with the Canadian Secretary of State, as an advisor to a Canadian Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers, Mr. Stewart combines another thirty years of senior global business experience as Chairman/CEO of several multinational companies in investment finance, major infrastructural construction projects, telecoms, mining/ metallurgy, petroleum, energy and biotechnology. He developed two world class IPP gas-to-electricity projects as CEO of Ocelot International Inc., Chairman of Tangas A.G. and Camgas A.G., including the start-up of the giant $900 million Songo Songo Field in Tanzania. 

As Chairman/CEO of Interop A.G., International Cobalt Corporation, Canada-Africa Mining Corporation, and America Mineral Fields Corp., he joint-ventured with Bechtel International Corporation and Falconbridge (Xstrata). This included several global mining and infrastructure projects including Kilembe Mines Ltd. (Uganda), Kolwezi Cobalt Project, Kipushi Zinc Mine, and Mbuji-Mayi Diamond Reserves (the largest in the world). As well, he authored the $50 billion DR Congo Reconstruction Plan and the $20 billion Botswana Resources Master Plan with Krupp, Bechtel and LTA/Anglo American Corp.  Concurrently, he also has 20 years of experience completing large infrastructure projects (Lagos International Airport) with the chairmen of Krupp Thyssen International A.G., (Europe's largest steel manufacturer and construction manager); Electrowatt AG, (Switzerland's largest international engineering company) and the purchase of cement companies for Holcim A.G., (the world's largest cement producer).

Mr. Stewart initiated and developed the five star Elephant Hills Hotel and Golf Club at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, which hosted the 1991 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.  He serves on the Board of Directors of several global mining companies including ICS Copper Systems Limited (Zambia), Entropy Resources LLC (Argentina) and is CEO of the San Bernardo Copper Mine, in Sonora, Mexico. He was CEO of Franklin Telecom Corp., a technological and patent leader in the Telecom revolution created by VoIP Technology, bringing low cost, long distance telephony to tens of millions of clients and several national telecom providers worldwide.

From 1980 -1985, he carried blood samples on behalf of medical research scientists Drs. Wilson Carswell (Scotland) and David Serwadda (Uganda) from victims of the HIV/AIDS pandemic to Infectious Disease Institutes in London (LITM) and Atlanta (CDC), proving the existence of the disease and expediting the search for a cure.
He lobbied US and EU Heads-of-State from 1985-2003 for the eventual creation of UNAIDS, the GFATM and PEPFAR Funds. 

His four children include Aaron (Hong Kong), Andrea (London), Christina (Zurich) and Julian (Winnipeg). He is fluent in French, German, and Swiss German with knowledge of several other spoken dialects.  His life partner is the published author, poet and screenplay writer Merrit Malloy. He was the first person to circumnavigate the world overland by Land Rover in 1968-69 visiting 167 countries, studying their governments, cultures, industries, economies, and the new role of international trade and investment. 



Craig Matthew: Senior Vice President, Europe and Africa;
Sales, Marketing, IT, Communications and Alliance Management:

Mr. Matthew has extensive business experience in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa.  He was CEO of Starfield Corporation, based in Geneva, Switzerland. He won contracts and implemented communications and power systems for African governments.  Working with Presidents, Ministers and other senior African government officials, he has also participated in several large African infrastructural and development projects as Vice President of Marketing and/or as a Senior Consultant to the Bechtel International Corporation, Ocelot International Inc., TANGAS A.G., Franklin Telecom Corporation, Krupp Steel A.G., and LTA/Anglo American Corp. He has negotiated strategic alliances with major corporations, secured significant business internationally with governments, parastatals, and the private sector, and written numerous marketing plans for diverse products and services.

He helped set up the Maja Clinic in Nigeria, the first in West Africa to do Laser Eye Surgery. He supplied pharmaceuticals and power systems to African Ministries of Health. He is an accredited speaker at the UN - International Telecommunications Union in Geneva, on global telecom development. He also worked with Dr. Mandil of the WHO, on early development of telemedicine services in Africa. Mr. Matthew helped set up clinical trials hosted by the Ugandan JCRC in 1997 for a new ARV medication with Professor Bjorn Grinde of the Norwegian IPH. He has a pilot's license, is fluent in English and French, and speaks some German, Spanish and Swahili. He is based in Europe with his wife Perri, and children Crystal and Justin.

Andrea Valenti, RD, LD/N, CD/N: Senior Vice President: Nutritional Support

Andrea is a Registered Dietician with a B.S. in Sales and Marketing. She was involved in research projects with Dr. Stanley Dudrick, at the Department of Surgery, St. Mary's Hospital/Yale University. She developed the Clinical Nutrition levels and standards of care, Practice Guidelines, Malnutrition Diagnosis Criteria, Screening Diagnosis Specific Nutrition Guidelines, Assessment Sheets, Calorie Count Sheets, menu's, patient surveys, formulary changes including specialized tube feeds, glutamine supplements, acute care inpatient programs, outpatient programs, nutrition analysis software for patient menu, wellness initiative programs, school nutrition programs, sports nutrition programs, was a corporate wellness speaker, created glucose control protocols, and nutrition analysis.


She was the Surgical Nutrition Support Team Co-director along with Dr. Dudrick providing specialized nutrition care for heart and lung transplants, artificial hearts, pacemakers, Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Cardiac Step Down, Rehabilitation, HIV/AIDS, geriatric medicine and disease specific medicine including dialysis, liver disease, drug/alcohol abuse and other conditions.

Merrit Malloy: Senior Vice President, Communications: 
   
Born in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, Merrit was a journalist at the UN in New York, and is a published author, poet, music and screenplay writer with 21 published books. In addition, as a ghostwriter, Merrit has co-authored or developed many commercial medical books with world-class medical professionals, most recently the famous Pediatrician, Toxicologist, Allergy Specialist and Environmental Medical Founder, Dr. Doris Rapp of Buffalo and Scottsdale.

Her medical editing and publishing include books listed on the New York Times Best Seller List. She has worked at Tristar, MGM, Paramount and NBC writing for film and network television. Her Producer/Writer credits include several Primetime Movies, including the award winning 'SPECIAL OLYMPICS' movie for CBS. She was been recognized by the Writers Guild of America for 'Best Original Screenplay' and has been awarded both the prestigious 'HUMANITAS' and 'PEABODY' Awards. She co-founded THE BOOK PARTNERSHIP (now Affinity Media Communications), a very successful publishing and packaging company.

Merrit has just recently completed the screenplay "MARY' based on the life of the controversial founder of the Christian Science Church, Mary Baker Eddy.  She is responsible for communicating GHPC's product development to the global media, professional societies, governments, medical establishments and patients worldwide. Co-founder of the company, she is the life partner of Robert Stewart, has two daughters: O'Brian (an Intensive Care nurse in California) and Molly (a Career Counselor in New York). She has one spectacular grandson: Jack Riley.


David A. Goldsmith: Senior Vice President, Interim Legal Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Digital Officer: 

David is an experienced broadcast, film and television executive with over 25 years of work in the Hollywood Advertising and Entertainment community. As senior manager and creative affairs specialist, he ran programming operations for major organizations including Grant-Tribune Productions, Lorimar Television, Gaylord Productions, Chuck Fries Productions, Paramount Television and MGM Television. Goldsmith spent over a decade in healthcare developing and marketing alternative healthcare products and services. He served as founder and board member of the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRIES COUNCIL, a nationally recognized anti-drug, health and social issues non-profit, for over 20 years.

Since 1998, David has been President and owner of THE GOLDSMITH COMPANY INC., a business development and marketing company developing marketing strategies for "digital media" distribution, advertising, marketing and communications. He works with traditional entertainment and media companies on content for all new media distribution platforms and advertising strategies. One product ”Nicarrest”, an anti-smoking patch, has achieved $100 million in annual sales. Goldsmith has bridged the "gap" between old and new media by developing and implementing strategic plans for all types of business verticals. He is married and has two boys in college: Benjamin (UCLA) and Jeremy (Oregon).


Stanley Jonathan Dudrick:  Vice President, Product Development: 

Mr. Dudrick entered the biotechnology industry in 1989 managing the manufacture of an amino acid based nutrient substrate product. Since then, Mr. Dudrick has enjoyed leadership as well as ownership positions with several biotechnology companies and a medical device company. During the course of Mr. Dudrick's experiences he has worked closely with the FDA and FDA regulations including management of legal and contract research organization vendors as related to the development of intravenous and oral nutrient substrate formulae and three medical devices. Mr. Dudrick's passion is interacting with nutrient substrate technologies from conception to laboratory and clinical development to delivery, supporting and facilitating funding, business and medical development and business and medical management. Mr. Dudrick has two daughters and resides in Connecticut.

David Briggs: Vice President and Director of Sales, Southeastern US: 

David is a 33-year veteran in sales and marketing with extensive experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.  As a Territorial Sales and Marketing Manager for Baxter Healthcare Corporation, he has managed negotiations for long-term contracts and provided a wide range of in-service training for medical personnel on a wide variety of products and services.  He has been a star performer and has increased territory sales of less than $400,000 in 1979 to over $15,000,000 in 2007.  Core competencies include multi-level budgeting, costing analysis, product presentation and communication of consultative sales principles.  He has experience in managing direct, med-surg, and drug wholesale distribution networks. A graduate of the University of Memphis in Memphis, he earned a degree in Microbiology.  David is married to Maudie Morrison Briggs, the CEO of Morrison Communications, and has two daughters.
